The Madurai Charitable Trust was created and constituted as a public charitable trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 to function without any profit motive. The Trust has been founded and guided by the local service minded people of Madurai including professionals and businessmen.

TThe Trust’s mission is to promote Projects in the three main areas of MEDI-CARE, SOCIO-CARE and EDU-CARE.

These projects encompass various programmes such as Medical Centers for providing ‘Quality Medicare’ and treatment of all kinds of illnesses, Centers for old-aged, orphans, destitute and handicapped people and Educational Centers specifically to develop self-employment and promoting cause for all by having conferences, seminars, workshops and other means of updating an exchange of vital information for public benefit.
